This is Blue Lake's first fire truck. It's a 1929 Chevrolet.

Comments:
Seahawkfan, cool counter.
I see that you have made the plunge to get a blog set up. After getting so much spamming I had to set the "Show word verification for comments" to yes. I also added you to my blog roll.

At Thom's I still have not figured out how to chat with a buddy.

See you!

Seahawkfan,

Ronald gave me your blog site. Funny, That fire may actually be one that Howard-Cooper Built. They built fire trucks from 1917 to 1948. They normally have a brass plate under the dash. Howard-Cooper had a seattle office up till 1989.

It actually was bought by Blue Lake new in 1929 as a cab and chassis. The wood and iron work was done locally.
